Where to eat
There are many places to eat when staying at Blaisdon House . Depending on whether you want to grab a quick bite in a pub or dine out in style. Here are a few of Chris and Sue’s favourites…Maybe take a look at them online and view their menu’s and see if any take your fancy.
Somewhere special…
The Ivy in Cheltenham. Beautiful building with a menu that suits many and prices start around £15 for a main course. Service is excellent.
Muse in Cheltenham. Lovely environment and excellent service along with a eruo-asian fusion menu, which is beautifully presented. Prices start around £16. It is currently No1 on Trip Advisor.
Severn & Wye Smokery - The Barn, Westbury on Severn. This is mostly a fish restaurant with a fine dining feel. They are only open Thursday to Saturday and booking is essential.
Orles Barn - Ross on Wye
Smaller restaurant offering a locally sourced menu which is cooked and served beautifully. Lovely intimate and relaxed dining experience.

The Red Hart Blaisdon. Our cute village pub, with traditional flagstone floors, woodburner and low beams. It is open every day except Tuesday and Sunday night. Serves pub grub and is friendly.
The Farmers Boy Inn. Just a few miles away is this traditional pub which serves food 7 days a week. Famous for its pies! but has a wide ranging menu.
The Lyon Inn. Pub/Restuarant, has different menu’s on different days.
The White Hart at Broadoak. Situated right on the river and serves a traditional pub menu.
Lunchtimes or Coffee and Cake we have 2 great garden centres within a couple of miles. Leaf Creative and Fairview Garden Centre.
Don’t mind a short drive…
White Horse at Staunton . Traditional pub, which serves excellent food (especially their Sunday Lunch) always good service.
Bangkok Canteen Gloucester. Tasty Thai food which is ethically & locally sourced and is fully gluten free with some organic produce used. Friendly and quick service.
Moody Cow Upton Bishop. Fabulous food at this country pub. A little more pricey than some, but excellent quality produce used and great service.
No3 Ross on Wye. Super food in a trendy setting, but its quite small, so make sure you book. They also have a cocktail bar across the road!
The Glasshouse May Hill. Good food and a reasonable price with a varied menu.
